1½ cups basmati rice, 6-7 green cardamoms, melted butter 3/4th cup, ½ cup water for making syrup and crushed gur 1½ cups. For cooking rice take 2 cups water. If you wish you add kishmish/ sultanas/ raisins, nariyal/ coconut. Ramya Bharath
